Sarapiqui River rafting

The water was very low, even though the wet season was underway, they hadn't had much rain, so our class 3 rapids were non-existent. Hermann, our guide said they were class 2, and I think that was stretching it. I didn't have any fears about any of the "rapids" so that'll tell ya they were about class 1. I didn't have any flashbacks to the excitement of the Snake River in Wyoming.
When we finished rafting we had lunch at the Selva Verde lodge (Chilamate) in the jungle. Rolando set it up for us to be able to use the showers at the resort. Seemed like a nice resort. It was great to be able to shower and freshen up before lunch. On the short walk over, Rolando pointed out some little poisonous frogs along the path...
